My cousin brought these to a picnic -- they were the best I ever tasted. From the kitchen of Tamara Vandegrift Easley, Rolla MO.
- 2 (16 ounce) cans pork & beans
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 medium onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- salt and pepper
- 6 bacon, slices
