Another recipe from Kids in the Kitchen #2. It didn't list any amounts for the ingredients so I am guesstimating. You can substitute apples or pears for the bananas.


  1. Peel bananas and slice lengthwise.
  2. Place in buttered pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Excellent. I served them as a side dish with one of my chicken recipes. They melt in your mouth. A huge plus is that that are so quick and easy.

These were so tasty! I didn't totally follow the proportions, but since you said they were a guess... :) I used about 1 Tbsp lemon juice and 3 Tbsp butter. I also added a generous sprinkle of cinnamon under the brown sugar. Thanks for posting this!
