  • Cut a slice from the top of each apple.
  • Core the apples.
  • Carefully remove the apple pulp, leaving a shell approximately 1/2-in. thick.
  • Chop the pulp and mix with granola and brown sugar.
  • Spoon mixture into apple shells.
  • Bake, covered, for 25 minutes and 400 degrees.
  • Uncover and bake 10-15 minutes more.
  • Serve with sour cream or yogurt.
