• Serves: 1

ingredients

• ice cube
• 51.76 ml Baileys Irish Cream
• 22.18 ml Irish whiskey
• 14.79 ml cold strong coffee

directions

1. Drop some ice cubes into a shaker
2. Pour in Baileys
3. Add the Irish Whiskey
4. Add coffee
5. Shake vigorously
6. Serve in a Martini glass.

How wonderful is this?!! I don't drink coffee, but my there was one tablespoon of coffee left in my husband's coffee pot and I had some Bailey's in the fridge, a bottle of whiskey in the cabinet - so I made a dinner-preparation cocktail. Lovely. Thanks for sharing!

5 Excellent stars ! I am not a lover of either coffee or whisky, but adore Baileys, but this recipe is great and the coffee (a good strong Dutch brew) and whisky (I used Tullamore Dew) even in their very small amounts cut the sweetness of the drink and give it an extra dimention that it wouldn't otherwise have had. Some of the guests I served this to prefered it with ice, and some prefered it without and that was the only debate about this recipe.. all agreed that it was one to keep and have often as a treat. Thanks !!!

This is a great drink!!! I love Baileys coffee, so this was right drink for me. I usually have Baileys and coffee as a hot drink, but liked this cold verison as much!!
