Last evening, Sister #2 missed out. I called her and asked if she wanted to stop by for hors d'oeuvres and a cocktail. She hemmed and hawed so long, I suggested emailing it to her.

These were great! I also cut the cream cheese with some grated just because family does not like heavy cream cheese flavor. Actually now I have a question....I froze my jalapenos from our garden. They are whole and I now want to use some for this recipe. Is it likely to work? I don't want to waste our peppers.

these were great, added the cheddar cheese to them and cut out some cream cheese, they were all gone in a few minutes

What I liked with this one was the addition of sun-dried tomatoes. I used the dry kind so I soaked them in hot-water before chopping into cheese mixture. Originally I found this recipe c/o 444031. They are almost the same recipe with exception of the garlic powder vs garlic cloves & the addition of salt (which I find is not necessary anyhow due to the sun-dried tomatoes). For the bacon, I recommend precooking the slices as mentioned. I used ? slice (sliced lengthwise) per pepper half. Great recipe, thanks for sharing.

Wow...these are good. I made 20 of them, and my hubby and I almost ate them all, and I ate another one cold for a snack this afternoon and it was just as good cold! I used the preparation as given, and although it took a little practice, it wasn't that hard, and so worth it. I have made these cut in half and it is so much better with whole jalapenos. If you don't like hot make sure you get all of the seeds out! I didn't have all of the ingredients on hand, so I used the cream cheese and added 3 t. of cajun seasoning, which was great. I will try the as posted recipe next time. Thanks Tasmith!

These spread like wildfire! They are always requested at special events now. They taste amazing, we have done them in the oven, on the bbq, used flavored cream cheese, or just plain. You just can't go wrong! Thanks for a great recipe!

I agree, wear gloves, but also use an apple corer or strawberry corer depending on the size of your peppers to reove the stem and aloot of the seeds. These are great for crowd pleasers.

These are fabulous! I cheated and used a mixture of herb and garlic and sun dried tomatoe cream cheese for the filling. I also added some green onion. I grilled these on the bbq and they went so fast I didn't even get one so of course I had to make them again the next night and I had to fight everyone off just to get one! Thank you soooo much. I will be making these again and again!
