This was very popular in the 50's and is my husband's favorite.

  1. Make slit in hotdogs from end to end but do not cut all the way through.
  2. Fill slit with cheese.
  3. Wrap in bacon and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Grill over medium high heat until bacon is done.
  5. Remove toothpicks :).
  6. Place hotgog in bun with a slice of pickle and top with mustard.
