I used this recipe as inspiration for use of the many garden tomatoes I have. We are not a 'tossed salad' family so I omitted the salad green and added LOTS of tomatoes, used lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil and salt and pepper with the bacon and tossed it all together. The kids loved it. Thanks for the great recipe!
Way easy and a perfect solution to an avocado that was going south fast. I nuked the bacon on a microwave tray and then chopped it into small pieces rather than arranging them in strips but other than that, your recipe rocks! This is a great tasting salad with minimal effort!
