We loved this so much, I made this a while back and the kids and me loved it, then I managed to lose the recipe(?) and made one very similar, we were not impressed and i couldn't think what was missing.....the oregano!!! It makes all the difference from bland to very very tasty.
Thank you for posting (I know have it printed out and stashed in my cookbook so it wont go missing again)
- 8 ounces pasta, cooked (I use thin spaghetti)
- 3 medium sweet onions, sliced into wedges
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 1 lb bacon, chopped and fried (reserve 1/4 cup grease)
- 1⁄4 cup bacon grease
- 2 eggs, mixed
- garlic salt, to taste
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 cups pea pods
- pepper, to taste
