This was great. I made it Halloween night to serve as a dipper for some potato/bacon soup. Yummy. I used the light crust color and 1.5 loaf white bread setting and it is devine. Can't wait to toast the leftovers and slather with butter for lunch today! Thanks.

I made this to go with some minestrone, it was lovely, it rose nice and the finished product was lovely & airy, a hit with the whole family. Thanks for posting!

I loved this bread! I doubled the bacon & will always double it in the future. My dh didn't care for it. More for me. The friends I shared it with were all a little curious. "Bacon? Really? Like REAL Bacon?" Love it toasted with a touch of butter. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Yum yum! I didnt use the peppercorns as I dont like pepper but this makes a lovely loaf =D Even handmade as I dont have a bread maker!

I am a grandma who has been seriously yeast-phobic for decades. RZ has given me the courage to go outside my comfort zone on occasion, so when I saw an ad for an ABM on sale & told DH I wanted it ~ 2 dys later I had it! I studied the instruction manual, saved recipes that intrigued me, decided today was the dy & chose your recipe. I made it as written, used the basic setting w/a med crust & opted to use 1 tsp of garlic powder. It is so good & you are so right ~ I cannot get enough of it either! I ate a slice slathered in butter while still warm & can hardly wait to try it toasted for breakfast tomorrow. Next time I will increase the amt of bacon & garlic as you suggested. Thx for sharing your recipe w/us so it could be my 1st effort. *Yum* ! :-)
