1 Pie
- Serves:
- 4-6
ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 dash pepper
- 9 inches unbaked pie crusts
- 4 center-cut bacon
- 3 large eggs
directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix flour and cheese together separately.
- Lightly beat eggs, milk and pepper.
- Chop spinach into pieces about 1-2 inches and mix into eggs.
- Pour cheese and flour into the egg and spinach mixture, lightly mixing as you add it.
- This is easy, like making an omelet. You can add more ingredients, like adding onions, fresh garlic, tomato's (on top last 5 min of cooking), top with cornflakes for added sweetness. Use low fat or non-fat milk and cheese (my preferred method). Additional meats; sausage, chicken, pork, fish, etc -- just remember to precook all meats. Have fun and don't be afraid to make it your own!
- Pour your ingredients into the pie crust, top with bacon and back in the oven for 60 minutes or until quiche has risen and is set!
