Add home cooked smells and smiles to your back country cooking with these dumplings.

  1. Mix the biscuit mix and dry milk.
  2. Label a pint size ziploc bag "dumplings, add 1/3 cup water".
  3. Put the mix in the bag.
  4. At camp, use the bag as a bowl.
  5. Stir in the water.
  6. Drop the dumpling mix into simmering soup or stew.
  7. Cook about 15 minutes, covered.
