I wish I would have tried these when my boys were little! Now that they are 2 and 4, they didn't really like them (not sweet enough I think). But I would definitely recommend them for infants/toddlers.

My one year old loves these! I didn't have applesauce at home when I made it, so I used a few jars of baby food, and it worked great. I've also traded out the banannas for strawberries and pears, and other fruits, and it's all very tasty! Thanks again!

I wanted to try these since I am searching for a homemade version of gummy fruit snacks for my boys. I left it in the fridge overnight and it still did not completely gel (more like a yogurt consistency). I gave it to my boys in bowls to try and they rank it "Ok"... not good and not bad. This recipe is not the winner in my search. I have 2 more rcipes to try that I found on other sites.

My 8 mo old loved them even though I didn't add enough gelatin (mine came in a box) and they were a little soft. She made a mess but it looked like it was all part of the fun!!

My 9-month-old absolutely LOVED these! I quartered the recipe and chilled them in a small casserole dish, because I didn't need very much. He gobbled them right up and cried when I didn't give him anymore! Definitely five stars!

I made a half recipe this afternoon and followed it exactly. Very easy to make! I popped the 8x8" pan in the freezer for a little while and then moved it to the frig. Both granddaughters LOVED the little squares I cut for them. I tried one just to see what they tasted like and have to admit they were pretty good... a nice blend of both apple and banana taste. Texture was good; eldest granddaughter used a fork to eat hers. The 11 mo old looked like she loved them... and she ate quite a few of the little squares. DD said she'll definitely be making these regularly... not only easy to make but also much healthier than most kiddie snacks. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! Definitely a keeper!

My 8 month old loves them, they make a great snack. I was hopping my 2 year old would like them too, but no such luck. Thanks for the great idea
