Baby's Baked Bean Mash

Your baby will probably be ready to cope with beans at about 9 months. This is high in iron. Can be frozen or stored in the fridge for 3 days.
Ingredients:
3 medium
potatoes
, peeled and cut into chunks
1 (130 g) can
vegetarian low-sodium baked beans
Directions:

Steam, microwave or boil potatoes until soft.

Drain and then mash potatoes with the baked beans.

I made this for myself when needing to stay on "soft" foods for a week after dental work. It was a nice change from the usual mashed potatoes and the beans added protein as well. I made this twice and the hand mashing worked the best. It was too thick for my blender. I don't know about baby but I will want this one again. Thanks for sharing it.
