I thought I would really enjoy this sauce but it was only so so for me. My boyfriend really loved it so I'm not sure... Maybe my taste buds are different! I thought it was a little too salty with the 1/2 tsp of salt. Usually parmesan is salty enough for me so I probably should have omitted the salt.
Was quick and easy, servrd with "Herbed Pork Tenderloin", only required a dash more salt and pepper. (Cannot correct typos !) - very tasty - enough left for another meal. Thanks, marie, for a new prep.

Great recipe. I left out the nutmeg as well. Reminded me of the cream potatoes and peas my mom made when I was a kid. Thanks Marie!
Very good! Makes an excellent sauce. I also omitted the nutmeg, and added sauteed garlic in olive oil. Yummy!
These were great and very easy to make. The only thing I did was leave out the nutmeg because I thought my family wouldn't like it. I served these with Cheese Stuffed Italian Meatloat (#103644) and steamed green peas. Delicious meal!
