- Cook carrots, covered, in a medium saucepan in a small amount of boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes or till crisp-tender.
- Drain; remove from pan.
- Combine 1/4 cup water and butter buds in same pan.
- Stir in carrots and toasted nuts.
- Heat through.

I love these carrots! They are on the special side but SO easy to make. The natural sweetness of the carrots really shines through and even DH ate some ( I think that he thought the nuts were bread crumbs)!. I was determined that this Christmas dinner was going to be stress free and this lovely side sure helped to make that a reality. The only thing that I did differently was to steam the carrots. Thanks for this Vic.
