This summer dessert makes a beautiful presentation when layered in a glass serving dish.
- 1 angel food cake
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 12 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 cups strawberries
- 1 package strawberry pie filling, gel (2 cups)
- Beat cream cheese, Cool Whip, powdered sugar& vanilla together.
- Break cake into pieces.
- Combine strawberries& pie filling gel together.
- Layer cake pieces, topped with cream cheese mixture, then strawberry mixture on top in glass serving dish.
I love this recipe! We make this all the time. The only thing I do differently is use 2 cans of cherry pie filling instead of the last 2 ingredients on your list! Perfect light and fluffy recipe....Thanks for posting!
