Awesome Steak Marinade

"I perfected this marinade after some tinkering about with various other recipes. This stuff is guaranteed to tenderize even the toughest steak cuts so they are juicy and delicious - mainly due to the marinating time so please marinate for at least the 24 hours. The flavours really come out on the barbecue."

• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
• 1⁄4 cup oyster sauce
• 1⁄4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
• 1⁄4 cup olive oil
• 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
• 2 tablespoons minced onions
• 2 large garlic cloves, minced
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme

directions

1. Combine all the ingredients and marinate your steaks in it for 24 - 48 hours, depending on the cut. This quantity is enough for roughly 2 pounds of steak.
