Excellent recipe! Loved the chicken! For this recipe, I found I could only get 3-1/2 lbs. of chicken drumettes and wings in my baking pan. Except for the garlic powder which I forgot to add, and not adding the salt, I used all the ingredients needed to make this recipe. I did use a low sodium soy sauce that I purchased from Aldi's (which only had 660 mg of salt), so our chicken didn't taste salty at all. (If desired, you can purchase an even lower sodium soy sauce at Festival's Foods, Essetential Everyday Low Sodium Soy Sauce, which only has 580 mg, but I didn't have enough to make this recipe, so I opt to use the Aldi's brand, which worked fine.) At first I wasn't sure the chicken would crisp up as seeing it's swimming in a lot of liquid, and only baking for 10 minutes at 450º, but low and behold it did. I did want to mention, how fabulous our house smelled while the chicken was baking in the oven, and also several hours after we were done eating. I'm looking forward to making this recipe again, as it's so good. Thank you mandycakes for sharing this awesome recipe!!

Awesome wings, we really enjoyed these sweet, salty sticky treats. They were quick and easy to make. I upped the red pepper flakes and brown sugar (personal preference only) and used a dark soya sauce. Made in a cookie sheet it worked great with this recipe. Thanks for sharing a recipe that I will make again.

I Honestly was disappointed in this recipe. I found it was entirely wayyyyy too salty.... i had to double the recipe for i had about 8 lbs of chicken... i would have to think the soy sauce killed it completely.... wasnt quite as sweet as i hoped it would be... i even used more brown sugar as u recommended... just didnt work for me thanks for sharing tho!
