I got this recipe from a friend who was a caterer. It was her most requested dish. It is so delicious and wins raves everytime I serve it. One thing, this is much better if made the night before so the flavors really have time to marry.

i recently reviewed this recipe but its not showing, wonder why...anyway does not matter as I was all praises :) This is a superb recipe..I needed something quick to go with my pasta & this worked out perfectly. This is soo delicious and you can rustle up in a jiffy with a handful of ingredients. Me & my husband devoured an entire batch of dozed odd pieces..does not matter if you cannot marinate the topping, I could not and it still tasted good. awesome food.

  1. Mix all ingredients together the night before serving. Spread on your choice of sliced bread (french, cuban, italian baguette) and toast at 350 degrees until melted and slightly browned on top.
