Awesome Chocolate Butterscotch Chip Cookies

"These are delicious cookies and easy to make. Something a little different from regular chocolate chip! They also freeze well."

• Ingredients: 9
• Serves: 24

ingredients

• 1 1⁄4 cups flour
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 3⁄4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 ounces chocolate chips
• 3 ounces butterscotch chips

directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. Combine butter and sugar and beat until fluffy Add egg and vanilla and mix very well.
3. Gradually add flour, salt and baking soda while mixing until smooth.
4. Stir in chips by hand.
5. Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased baking sheet.
6. Bake until just browned approximately 10-13 minutes. Watch them closely near the end to prevent butterscotch chips from burning!

These are great cookies. I was sad it made such small batch. If you are going to make these make sure to double the batch. ;)

These were quick, easy, and delicious. I had to bake for around 7-8 minutes, either because of my oven or high altitude, and I had to squish them a bit after dropping them on the cookie sheet. Next time I think I will make them all butterscotch. Delicious, thank you!

These cookies are truly outstanding! I left out the chocoloate chips and doubled the butterscotch. Mmmm!! They baked up perfectly, not too crisp, not too soft. They didn't spread all over like some cookies. The taste was out of this world!! I plan on adding this to my favorite cookies recipes and will be using it often. Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe!!!!
