ingredients
- 1 ripe Hass avocado, halved and pitted
- 2.46 ml hot pepper sauce
- 14.79 ml lime juice, from 1 lime
- 118.29 ml buttermilk
- 59.14 ml mayonnaise
- 14.79 ml minced red onion
- 14.79 ml minced fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 medium garlic clove, minced
- 2.46 ml sugar
- 3.69 ml table salt
- 1.23 ml ground black pepper
directions
- Scoop the flesh from the avocado.
- In food processor, puree avocado, hot sauce, and lime juice until avocado is broken down, about 30 seconds.
- Add remaining ingredients and process until dressing is completely smooth.
- Can be refrigerated up to 1 week.
- Toss about 2 tablespoons with 4 cups of salad greens to serve 2 people.

Oh, I liked this very much. I love avocados, guacamole, cilantro. This came out pretty thick. I got exactly 1 1/2 cups as stated. I could see thinning it a bit with additional buttermilk, perhaps. I had it for lunch on a romaine salad with diced tomatoes. It really hit the spot. Thanks! I will definitely make this one again.
