Avocado Deviled Eggs

"These are awesome! Very different from the typical mayo/mustard/onion deviled eggs. Great for summer parties, since there is no mayonnaise called for. Everyone has asked me for this recipe! By the way, this is the first recipe that I have posted, so go easy on me. Recipe courtesy of Penzey's Spices. Enjoy!"

  1. This was a good recipe. I took this to a get together party and it was a hit! I think the lime in the avocado was a nice touch. Thanks for the great recipe.

Hello everyone! OK, here goes: I am a stockbroker in Scottsdale, AZ., very happily married to my husband (Paul) for 7 years...He also happened to be a client of mine.He is a professional race car driver. I felt like I was in a "cooking rut" always making the same things -- then I discovered the 'zaar. Paul says that every night is a culinary adventure since then (at least I don't have to worry that my cooking is boring him). I've always enjoyed cooking. My (very Italian) mother taught me to cook from scratch. Jarred pasta sauce was the greatest sin in her eyes. I can honestly say that I have never had the experience of testing the dreaded jarred sauce! I do plan to post some of my own recipes, once I take the time to actually measure the ingredients! Thank you for visiting my page!
