I halved this recipe. I used 2 fresh jalapenos instead of the tabasco. Will probably add a little more heat the next time. We had it on fish tonight. Tomorrow will be putting the leftovers on hamburgers. Really enjoyed the taste and creaminess and will definitely be making this again.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 6 large avocados, halved and pitted
  • 12 tomatillos, husked, washed, and quartered
  • 3 cups loosely packed cilantro leaves
  • 34 cup chopped onion
  • 14 cup tabasco brand green jalepeno pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salt


  1. Scoop avocado pulp into blender or food processor container. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth. If not serving immediately, cover with plastic wrap pressed directly on top of salsa and refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips.
