Saw this on a leaflet, had to try it, had to make it again

  1. spread one side of each slice of bread evenly with mayonnaise.
  2. spread half the number with mashed avocado.
  3. then top with red onion.
  4. place the chicken, bacon, lettuce leaves and tomato on top.
  5. season with salt and pepper.
  6. top with remaining slices of bread and serve immediately.

Yum! I chose some lightly toasted, soft Pita bread for this. I will try a good quality white bread next time. I left the tomato off. As with the previous reviewer, it's a personal preference. :)

Wonderful sandwich! I left off the tomato, due to personal prefernce. I loved the avocado! I used sourdough bread and this was delicious! Made for All You Can Cook Buffet!
