Avocado and Tomato Salad

"This recipe was given to me by my sister. A Fort Lauderdale resident, she enjoys a lot of seafood cooking. This recipe is a favorite side dish to her fantastic seafood dishes."

  • Cook bacon in 10-inch skillet until crisp; drain and crumble.
  • Mix oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and tobasco sauce. Pour over avocados in bowl; toss. Add bacon bits, tomatoes and onion. Refrigerate about 2 hours.
  • Serve on salad greens.
