What a delicious dish! I prepared the salmon exactly as indicated (with one exception -- I left the salmon in the marinade on the counter rather than in the fridge), and my family absolutely loved it. The salmon was quite sweet and tender, and everyone loved it. This was a very unique dish -- just the thing for fall. I am trying to cook seasonally, and was delighted to find this wonderful recipe.

I am a relatively new cook and would highly recommend this recipe to all other beginners -- this is the sort of dish that is so simple to prepare, but will make people think your skills have improved dramatically. More experienced cooks will already know why this is a great recipe. Patti Cake, thanks so much for sharing this recipe with us!

Very good and really quite easy. I went to make this and found out I forgot to by apple cider so I used apple juice with a dash of rice vinegar and I added some brown sugar. Otherwise I cut the recipe in half and followed the directions. DH said this was a keeper. (Next time I will try the cider). Served with Simple Spinach Side Dish#378684 and Hasselback Potatoes#273817. Made for Spring PAC 2010.

Made for PAC Spring 2009 -- Hello, adopted child! This is a fantastic recipe for salmon. DH and I really enjoyed the tanginess from the cider and the combination of herbs. I did make some adjustments: using olive oil instead of butter and decreasing the garlic to one clove instead of two (but my garlic cloves were quite large anyway). Thank you for a delicious dish!
