Authentic Fresh Guacamole

This recipe is a variation on a recipe I found on All of the ingredients are fresh which makes for a great authentic guacamole. Plus, also taught me that avocados are great for regulating blood sugar and cholesterol! As if we need an excuse to eat guacamole...


  1. Cut avocados into halves.
  2. Pit and peel the avocado halves.
  3. Combine avocados and remaining ingredients in medium-large bowl.
  4. With a fork, mash avocados and mix in ingredients to desired consistency.

VERY GOOD we loved it. We love to hav e ours chuncky. When I have leftover Guacamole I put one of the pits in the center of the dip and it stays fresh longer. Thanks for a great recipe. Made for Fall PAC 2009.

Made this to use with another chef's Orange Pork Carnitas, & although I'm not a big fan of this green stuff, it really is good (I have my other half & 2 guest to vouch for it, so . . .)!
