Made for the Newest Tag Game, I'm pretty sure that the lobster variety I used was not authentic for the recipe & falling snow made oven-broiling necessary. The mid-size tails I used were a gift from a friend who bought them at a local Farmers Market. I served them in gratin dishes at a dinner party as a starter course w/sml baguette rolls to "sop the sauce". I tasted the basting sauce prior to broiling & feared the lime flavor might be too intense, but when cooked & combined w/the lobster "juices" - it mellowed & was divine. DH & our guests were very impressed. My only regret is that I didn't manage to get a decent pic for the recipe, so you have an IOU for a pic. Thx for posting this great recipe for us. :-)
