Auntie Lu's Amazing Egg Bake

"A cheesy, delicious, breakfast meal for a crowd. Auntie Lu would always make this when we would stay overnight and it was a HUGE hit. We use a "perfect brownie" pan so that every piece is a delicious, crusty edge piece. The recipe works with either white or wheat bread, you can't tell the difference. I use a spicy sausage so there is no need for additional spices, but you can add your own spices to the eggs before you pour it on or in the meat when you cook it. Sauce is optional but very delicious."

  1. Made this for both sets of parents while they were visiting for the holidays and everyone RAVED! My MIL used to own a restaurant so I always try to impress her with recipes when she visits... this one did the trick!!

I love cooking. I guess you could say that great food is my vice. I don't think there is anything better than sitting down to a great meal that you made yourself. I have never been intimidated by the difficult recipes because I grew up learning from some great cooks, my grandmas, my aunt Jan and my mom. Every one of them had different strengths and learning from them gave me the attitude that there is not any dish that can't be made.
