@rachelmjohns- try subbing 1 cup hot STRONG coffee in place of water. =)
It was very good but it needs something else to really make it amazing....
Very moist , good homemade cake! I used Simple Chocolate Glaze to drip down over the top of the cakes. Yes, instead of one large cake I made individual bundt cakes. Thanks very much for posting! Good recipe! Made for the Cake-A-Thon in memory of Chef-I-Am.
Very moist, dense cake, almost like a heavy sponge cake texture. It has a surprisingly chocolatey taste, given the small amount of cocoa powder. I frosted it with No-Cook Chocolate Frosting (No Cook Chocolate Frosting) for a nice, rich-tasting double chocolate treat.
