    Directions:

      Preheat oven to 350.
    2. 2
      Mix and sift flour, salt and baking powder, and set aside.
    3. 3
      Beat eggs until creamy.
    4. 4
      Beat vanilla into beaten eggs. Add sugar slowly to egg mixture, using a spoon.
    5. 5
      Sift flour mixture, 3 T. at a time, into egg mixture.
    6. 6
      Melt butter in hot milk and add to mixture. Keep milk hot, but DO NOT BOIL.
    7. 7
      Cook in a 8x8" greased, floured pan, in a 350 oven for 30-35 minutes.
