Aunt Rose's Strawberry Pie

"This is really easy to make and very delicious. I got the recipe from my Aunt Rose. You can substitute other fruits for the strawberries and then use the corresponding jello flavor."

  1. I know I already reviewed this, but have tried this a different way, and its wonderful!! I cleaned and sliced strawberries, made the glaze as usual. I made a sugar cookie dough and spread it on a pizza pan and baked it. I made a thin layer of cream cheese w/powdered sugar and spread it over cookie. Then evenly spread strawberries and poured the glaze over all. It was a big hit at the bbq party and was very tasty looking. I thought it may serve more people this way. Just wanted you to know this recipe is great whichever way you make it!

  2. This was a huge hit! Everyone loved it and there is not much left! Served it with whipped cream and it looked gorgeous! I made this for the Undercover Pie Photo Event and I am so happy I found this one! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!! Always, Jelly :) I forgot to add that I made a cookie crust which made it perfect!!! :)

  3. This is the recipe I use too. I love it! So does my husband -- so much, that when I dropped a finished pie on the floor (of course landing upside down), he just scooped it all up and ate it anyway. And I don't wash floors often.
