My great-aunt Lou makes this dressing all the time. After trying it once, it's replaced all store-bought dressings in our house. I actually WANT to eat salads!
- 1⁄3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1⁄8 cup water
- 2⁄3 cup olive oil (I use Bertolli's Classico for a mild flavor)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 1 large garlic clove, cut in half
- Pour all ingredients into container and shake to combine. No need to refrigerate.
