This is from a lady who lived to 101 and made this often for her assisted living home buddies.
- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄2 cup cream or 1⁄2 cup evaporated milk
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
- Cook all ingredients except peanut butter to a soft boil.
- Add peanut butter and beat until blended.
- Pour into 8x8 pan.
Yummy fudge! Rich and decadent - a real treat. I cooked mine at a rolling boil for about 14 minutes before adding the peanut butter. Good stuff - thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for Fall PAC 2009
Yummy peanut butter fudge! I used cream and Jif peanut butter. I cooked to 234. I think this would be great with some peanuts pressed into the top, too. Thanks, Golfcrazy!
