This recipe has been in my family for over a 100 years. I add 1/2 to 1 cup of sugar depending on if I am on a diet or not. Ha Ha.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Whisk together the bran, sugar, flour, salt & flour.
  3. Add the wet ingredients and mix lightly.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or till done.
  5. Enjoy!

Decided to try these out 'cause I want to work on my 'muffin side,' & it was well worth the short time spent making these! Followed the recipe [pretty much], but then I suppose I screwed up a great 100-year-old recipe by adding a handful of raisins! Still, the muffins were great! Thanks much for the posting!
