I enjoyed this for an elegant way to serve asparagus. I used thick cut asparagus and stretched it around 5-6 to a bundle. The bacon was done perfectly, browned to perfection and the tips of the asparagus was a bit crispy - just as we like it. If you like your asparagus less done watch the oven. Thanks for an easy recipe that looks great

I make this all the time and absolutely love it. My BF, who doesn't like asparagus, likes this too. I do 2 things different though, first I wrap each individual piece of asparagus in half a piece of bacon. I find I prefer the bacon a bit thinner and if you cut it in half it stretches to the perfect thickness. The other thing I do is grill the asparagus, the bacon comes out nice and crispy and the asparagus come out with just the perfect amount of crunch.
