I needed a recipe for a spring potluck at work. I also wanted to take a cake for a birthday. Imagine my delight when I found that this cook had recipes for both. Her recipe for the lemon curd is the best ever. For my presentation at the potluck, I roasted the asparagus; arranged it in a serving dish; topped it with sliced of hard boiled eggs; then spooned on the lemon curd. It was a hit.
too sweet, maybe less lemon curd would do
This is a delicious and easy dish. The combination of ginger and garlic nicely compliment the lightly sweet lemon sauce. A definate keeper.
Wow, this is really, really delicious! The lemon, ginger (one of my favorite flavor combos) was spectacular on the roasted asperagus. The curd got a little sticky, but it was worth it. I highly recommend this dish! Served with meatloaf and white rice.
