- 2 tablespoons vegan margarine or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon or 1⁄2 teaspoon basil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon grated lemon, rind of
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can asparagus spears, drained
- In small saucepan, melt butter.
- Stir in tarragon and lemon peel.
- Simmer 2 minutes over low heat.
- Pour over warmed asparagus spears.
