Pets, an excellent recipe, easy and quick for a weekday menu, or on the buffet table, looks fantastic and tastes great. I added extra ham (the family love it)and this was very well received by all. I make this relatively often now and when the family know what's cookin' they say "Ooohhh, good, Yummmmy"... always a good sign :) Many Thanks! I'm updating this rating because I make it often for guests using both white and green asparagus and it always goes down a treat. This photo is for 6 guests and there wasn't a scrap left, That's surely a reason to upgrade a recipe from 4 to five stars, Thanks!people found this review Helpful. This made a lovely, light, tasty supper for us. My fingers 'itched' to add some lemon juice or parmesan cheese, but I resisted and I'm glad I did. It didn't need any 'extras'. I did, however, add some sliced, home-grown tomatoes on the side, which, we thought, complimented the dish perfectly. Easy to prepare, pretty to look at, and delicious to eat.
