Originally a WW recipe. Have not tried this cold but looks like it could be an interesting picnic dish that way.
- 12 asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon red onion, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon canola oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic, minced (jar)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- Steam asparagus until tender.
- In small bowl combine vinegar, onion, oil, garlic and pepper.
- Transfer asparagus to platter; top with vinegar mixture.
