This was best asparagus!! This recipe is simple, easy to follow, and it turns out perfect.

  1. Wash asparagus and snap off ends.
  2. Lay spears in shallow pan and cover with salted boiling water to cover.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.
  4. Drain and turn into 4 buttered ramekins.
  5. Melt butter and stir in wine.
  6. Pour over asparagus.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cheese.
  8. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
