A very simple but elegant vegetable side dish. Works especially well with beef.
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Arrange asparagus in casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with hazelnuts.
- (Toss a bit to be sure nuts are evenly distributed.) Top randomly with pats of butter.
- Bake for 30- 45 minutes.
I didn't know how to cook fresh aspargus. I used a little olive oil with a smaller amount of butter on top. I thought it was very simple and tasted wonderful.
