Asian Sugar Snap Peas

"I found this recipe on the Safeway website. It was listed as an appetizer recipe, but I think it could easily be served as a side dish, too."

  1. I used home grown snap peas and green peas, tossed crushed garlic with the oil, used hot sesame oil, cut back on the soy using 1 1/2 teaspoons. Thanks! Made for ZWT6.

  2. Delicious, quick and easy. I grated some garlic and mixed it with oil instead of using infused. I would use a little less oil next time. These were not only tasty, but they looked great. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  4. Another recipe I served when my son & DIL were here (both vegetarians) & this was great! Three things that I really enjoy ~ peas, garlic & sesame seeds! We all really enjoyed this dish & the recipe is a great keeper! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed in the current Almost 5 Special Event]

  5. What a nice change of pace. DH really enjoyed these and eat most of them. Made using a clove of garlic as we did not have any garlic oil. Liked that the peas stayed sweet and just a little crisp. Thanks for the post.

This site used to be awesome. It was at the top of its game when it was called Recipezaar, but that was many years ago. The site was purchased by Scripps and belly-flopped into mediocrity. A few of the faithful members remained, hoping to wait out the storm of corporate nonsense. But alas, it never got better and just continued on its terminal path to nothingness. So most of the loyal members have vanished and made homes at better recipe sites.
