Asian Style Sweet & Sour Meatballs

This is a recipe I made my own version of sweet sour sauce. So delicious!! This is good for side dish.

Ingredients:

Serves: 2

Yield: 20.0 meatballs

Meatballs

• 200 g ground beef
• 100 g tofu
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Sauce

• 3 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons ketchup
• 1 tablespoon chinese plum juice
• 1 tablespoon blackberry vinegar
• 2 cups water
• 1 tablespoon honey

Directions:

1. Mix all the ingredients of meatballs with plastic gloves and make meatballs,.
2. Fry the meatballs with olive oil.
3. Put all sauce ingredients and boil it in a pot.
4. When it's boiled you can put the prepared meatballs in the sauce and boil down until when it become a little sticky.
5. You can put them on the dish and enjoy with rice.

This was delicious! Quite simple, but makes a great sidedish with an Asian taste! My wife loved it too!
