This was pretty good... The only thing I did not add was the crushed red pepper. I was making it for kids as well as adults and I didnt want it to be too spicy. I think it needed a little more sweetness. Next time I am going to try adding some brown sugar to the sauce mixture. Thanks for posting!
Made it with chicken. Very good.
I made a double batch with chicken breast meat, substituting broccoli florets for the sliced water chestnuts and adding a couple tbsps of coarsely grated orange zest. Served as a one-dish meal, it made 5 servings. A really easy, flavorful selection.
