  1. I mean no disrespect and this looks like a good non-spicy American blend. But it doesn't look Asian at all. The spices that are typically used in Asian cuisine are basil, cassia (cinnamon), cilantro, coriander, chiles, cloves, cumin, galangal, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, spearmint, star anise and turmeric.
     
  2. Mmmm, what a great spice mix!!! Pink Diamond, this really is great! I luv the combination of the tangy onion with the sharp garlic and spicy ginger. The red pepper flakes and ground pepper add a great dimension. I tried this as a topping on a snack mix and it was so good! I couldnt stop munching! :) THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this winner of a recipe with us! Made and reviewed for Newest Zaar Tag Game May 2010.
     
  3. WAAAAAAYYYYY too spicy for my family. Too much pepper. I am going to cut both peppers by 2/3 next time and see how that works.

  1. lol i read this wrong the first time i made it, basically added 1 tsp of each spice(a smidgen less fround ginger and black pepper), mixed it together for a stir fry recipe i was trying out and my husband LOVED it. soo turned out to be a pretty good mistake!
