used in recipe for "GRILLED LEMONGRASS BEEF-PORK/TOFU AND NOODLE SALAD" delicious, variable, basic and easy to change recipe for traditional asian peanut sauce. most amounts are eyeballed, every batch I make tastes different!
- 1 cup peanut butter (or ground roasted peanuts)
- 1⁄2 cup coconut milk (or any liquid inc water)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon chopped chile
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- combine all ingredients, stirring well or mixing in blender.
- heat in saucepan until boils briefly.
- can be stored in fridge for several weeks.
