I love this sauce for dipping egg rolls and it is a must for any stir fry. Just add meat, veggies, rice, etc. to a pan and give a quick cooking.
- 4 tablespoons water
- 4 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 lime, juice of
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated
- Combine all ingredients, stirring to make sure the sugar is dissolved.
- Depending on my mood, I add fresh mint, cilantro or red pepper flakes. You can experiment with this if you like it more sharp, sour, sweet, hot, etc.
