Really good chicken. I added fish sauce to the marinade, but otherwise followed everything exactly. I also marinaded it overnight. I liked how easy it was to make, and it was great served alongside Thai noodles.
This was soooo delicious! If I had chopped up the chicken thighs first, I think the kids would have thought it came from a restaurant. Thanks for a family pleaser.
We thought this chicken was great, and also really liked the sauce on our rice. I did not use the marinade after it was sitting on the raw chicken for the sauce though - I set aside half of the marinade initially to simmer for the sauce (there was plenty).
This is a really nice chicken recipe. I do like tamari, but felt the sauce was a bit overpowering and salty. I liked the chicken without the added sauce so much more. I enjoyed the sesame and green onions on top! Thank you.
Delish! Made these yummy chicken thighs tonight for dinner and they were a hit. Served them with some Szechuan eggplant and some vinegar and salt potatoes. Made for the Best of 2014 tag game.
Yum, I love Asian food. Somehow I think I've found myself having grown up in the wrong household .
"Fantastic Thighs"! Easy recipe to make and instructions were right on!! Much better than "Take Out". I did make slits in my thighs before I put them in the marinade. I think it made a great difference. (absorbed the marinade better) They were served with Rita's Stir Fried Spicy Cabbage (#314078). It was an amazing combo. Your thigh recipe is our new favorite. Your marinade should be great for Shrimp. Will try and let you know. Thank you, thank you, sincerely.
We loved these. Easy to marinate and delicious. Made a great dinner for us. Made for What's for Dinner.
This was oh so good, I marinated the chicken for about 6 hours and cooked as directed though when I went to cook up the marinade I put it into the pan using it to deglaze all those caramelized bits and then transferred it to a pot to bring to the boil and simmer as I felt if I did it in the pan I would loose the lot over such a large surface area. This smelt so good it wasn't till we had finished devouring it that I realized that I had forgot to put the sesame seeds on before serving. Thank you Everything Tasty Kitchen for a delicious dish, made for Best Of 2013 tag game and recommended by Breezermom.
Outstanding! The OP is correct: there's no need for takeout when this is better than alot of restaurants' dishes and it's even fast that driving to the place. The sauce carmelizes to a wonderful finish on the chicken. I did use the cover for a few minutes to make sure there was some steam cooking action. A couple of my pieces had unusually thick places on them, and I wanted to make sure they cooked.
