simmering to reduce is a must on this recipe. I tasted it before and after reduction and it makes a huge difference. I also thought it needed a little pepper after tasting the finished sauce so I added 1/4 tsp ground black pepper. It now has a better balance with the acidity level. A very nice change of pace to bbq. I'll be using this again.

  1. Cook all ingredients in small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thick and reduced, about 5 minutes.
